Taking place from 6–10 August 2025, the festival returns to its iconic dual-site format in Newquay: Watergate Bay, the heart of the music action and Fistral Beach and the lawns of The Headland for legendary for surf competitions, skate ramp, beach vibes and the WAX Garden Party.

Here’s all that you can expect on our lawns from Wednesday – Sunday. 

The Headland Skate Ramp

After a short hiatus, The Headland Skate Ramp returns on our bottom lawn. Witness electrifying showcases and masterful demonstrations from top talents in skateboarding and embrace Fistral’s rich legacy of skating & BMX sports. Plus, enjoy invitational comps, kid’s taster sessions & workshops.

From 10am – 8:30pm daily. 

The Wax Garden Party

After the success of its first year in 2024, the ultimate lawn party returns with a bang this year. With daily DJ’s providing the soundtrack, expect BBQ’s, beers, garden games and the best view of the surf.

From 10am – sunset daily.

The Boardmasters Talks Tent

Rising Tide, a grassroots sustainability group, will curate a space for ocean-positive panels, screenings and Q&As, focusing on surfing and sustainability.

At Fistral Beach

Surf Comps

Fistral Beach is the home of UK surfing for a reason and Boardmasters is the jewel in the surfing scene’s crown. The best of UK and international surfers will go head-to-head in the country’s biggest surf competition. Pro surfers will make their welcome return competing in the shortboard & longboard competitions. Plus, the next generation of groms will battle it out in the returning Junior Open competition.

Daily Beach Cleans

Join the Boardmasters Green Team on one of the daily beach cleans to do your bit in making Boardmasters one of the most environmentally conscious and low-impact festivals.
