This year, The Headland waves its wand to mark 35 bewitching years since the filming of The Witches
To mark the occasion, we’ve conjured three spellbinding experiences, each designed to celebrate the cult film in a different way.
Here's how you can join the enchantment...
5–6 September 2025
Set under Cornish sky, this immersive outdoor screening transforms the hotel’s grounds into a spooky cinematic wonderland. The movie begins at 8pm but the evening unfolds with plenty of spooky treats:
- Cauldron & Coal BBQ serving sizzling, spellbound grills
- Candy Curse Cart offering freshly-flavored popcorn, treats and more
- Enchanted Airstream dishing up indulgent loaded mac & cheese
- Enchanted Tap bar featuring craft beers, wines, and soft drinks
- Potion Parlour, a cocktail tipi with dry-ice drinks and magical mixes
Costumes are highly encouraged, it’s a night designed to be cinematic, haunting and utterly unforgettable. Perfect for all ages.
17 October – 2 November 2025 (2 PM – 4 PM daily)
Treat yourself to “A Wickedly Witchy Afternoon Brew’ with a sea view at Restaurant RenMor.
Guests can revel in wickedly wonderful cakes, terrifyingly tasty treats, clotted cream scones, savoury autumnal sandwiches and tea served to daredevils of all ages.
But be careful….our resident “wickedly witch” may make a spine-tingling appearance!
17 October – 2 November 2025
