Imagine The Headland with nobody here but your people. The fires lit, the bar stocked, the Atlantic putting on a show and a team whose only job is looking after you.
We've been welcoming guests to this clifftop since 1897, and we're still family-run today. So exclusive use here doesn't mean a corporate venue with your logo on a lectern. It means our home, handed over to you for a few days with all the warmth and attention that comes with it.
Grand enough for the occasion of a lifetime. Relaxed enough that everyone actually enjoys it. Five-star Cornwall, not formal.
The perfect occasion
- Weddings. A whole weekend, not just a day. Welcome drinks on Friday, vows on Saturday (indoors or out, we're licensed for both) and a long, lazy Sunday lunch in RenMor.
- Milestone celebrations. The big birthday, the golden anniversary, the reunion that's been years in the planning. Everyone you love, under one very handsome roof.
- Company retreats. Meetings with a view, dinners worth staying for and a surf lesson to shake up the team. Productive, with none of the conference-centre feeling.
- Family takeovers. Grandparents in the suites, cousins down the corridor and children racing to be first to the beach. Finally, a holiday where everyone gets what they want.
Dining
Breakfast in bed, a barbecue on the lawns or a black-tie feast. When the place is yours, so is the menu.
Our kitchen, led by Executive Head Chef Gavin Edney, cooks with the best of Cornwall: fish landed down the coast, meat from farms we know by name, and vegetables that haven't travelled far. We'll plan every meal of your stay with you, from canapés on the lawn to the last midnight snack.
The bar stays open as long as the party does and our team will happily match wines to every course.
How it works
- Tell us your plans. Dates, numbers and the kind of occasion you have in mind.
- We'll put together a proposal. Spaces, menus, extras and a clear quote, with no hard sell.
- Shape every detail. Surf lessons, spa treatments for the morning after, a string quartet on the lawn, a ceilidh in The Ballroom. If you can dream it, we'll do our very best to make it happen.
- Arrive and enjoy it. We'll take it from there.
