Cornwall has been quietly keeping some of England’s best links golf to itself for over a century. The Cornwall Links Experience brings three of them together: St Enodoc, Trevose and Perranporth, with The Headland as your base above Fistral Beach.
Play by day. Come back to sea views, a proper dinner and a bar that knows what a long day on the links calls for. Then do it all again tomorrow.
The courses
St Enodoc - James Braid’s Church Course winds through towering dunes beside the Camel Estuary, past a little medieval church half-buried in the sand. Then there’s the Himalaya, one of the biggest bunkers you’ll ever stand in front of. It’s the kind of round people talk about for years.
Trevose - A Harry Colt classic at Constantine Bay, laid out across open, windswept links with the Atlantic for company. Honest, testing golf that rewards a good plan and punishes a lazy one.
Perranporth - Another Braid design, high in the dunes above three miles of golden sand. Wild, natural and wonderfully old-fashioned, with views that will cost you at least one shot a hole.
Between rounds
Cornwall wears its history lightly, but it’s everywhere: on clifftops, down harbour lanes and in the names on the old chapel walls. If you’ve added a rest day, or you’re travelling with someone who’d rather not walk 18 holes three days running, here’s where we’d point you.
Not a golfer?
The rest of the party can spend the day in The Headland Spa, exploring Cornwall’s history or lingering over lunch, then everyone meets back here for dinner.
How it works
The Cornwall Links Experience is a minimum three-night stay, with a round at each course. Fancy more golf, or a day off to explore? Many guests add a night or two, and we’d thoroughly recommend it.
Stays from £1,000 per person, including:
- An overnight stay in one of our gorgeous hotel rooms with breakfast at RenMor to start the day
- Access to our award-winning Spa and AquaClub facilities
- A round of golf each day across St Enodoc, Trevose and Perranporth
Bespoke dining, transfers and excursions can be included based on your requirements. Tee times and bookings are arranged by our partners at Golf South West, who know the courses inside out.

“A little Cornish golf history: Cornwall gave the world 'Long Jim' Barnes, a Lelant lad who went on to win the very first PGA Championship in America, followed by the US Open and The Open. Come and see the coastline that started it all.”
