Christmas Markets
Celebrate the Season by the Sea
Newquay kicks off Christmas in style on Friday 29th November with the town's festive light switch-on and the opening of the town's Christmas market. Spectacular fireworks will light up the bay over Towan Beach while the festivities continue on the Killacourt.
If you can't make it this weekend, our neighbours will join us to celebrate the season and support local makers with Christmas markets across the town starting on 5th December.
5th - 8th December, Project 83, Wesley Yard
6th - 8th December, Tolcarne Village, Tolcarne Beach
The Headland's Sustainable Christmas Market is back for 2025 and will be held on 7th December in The Deck and AquaClub. Tickets are not required but are encouraged so that we can monitor the number of people attending. £3 will give you a festive hot drink, mince pie and a donation to Newquay Foodbank. Parking is available for ticket holders.
Newquay’s Christmas markets perfectly blend the cosy, traditional feel of the holiday season with the town’s signature laid-back coastal vibe. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, these markets are a wonderful way to get into the festive spirit while enjoying the best of Cornwall’s community and creativity. Many of the stallholders are small, independent businesses. By shopping at these markets, you’re not only finding unique gifts but also supporting the local economy.
So grab your woolly scarf, sip on some mulled cider, and let the magic of Christmas by the sea fill your heart. Newquay is waiting to welcome you!
