What it is?
The National Emergency Briefing is a UK-wide movement calling for the government to give the public a live, prime-time briefing on the climate and nature crisis, introduced by the Prime Minister and delivered by independent experts.
It started in Westminster, where ten of the UK's leading experts briefed more than 1,200 politicians and leaders. That briefing is now a film, presented by Chris Packham, being shown in communities across the country. More than 100,000 people have signed the petition calling for the briefing, enough to trigger a debate in Parliament.
Why here
The Headland has looked out over this coastline since 1897. Cornwall's beauty is why so many people visit us, and why protecting it matters.
These screenings bring people together to watch the same evidence in the same room and talk about what comes next.
Whatever you already know, come along, watch and be part of the conversation.
