Customer Service Hat-Trick For The Headland
The Headland Hotel is celebrating for the third time in less than six months following its success at the 2018 Cornwall Business Awards.
The front of house team were presented with the prestigious Customer Focus Award, highlighting their continued commitment to treating every guest like a VIP.
Judges described the hotel as an “iconic business that sets the standard for customer service in the hospitality sector.” The citation continued: “in all parts of their business The Headland continues to innovate and develop new ways of delighting customers.” The judges said they were particularly impressed with the language used by the hotel, choosing not to refer to ‘customer service’ but instead the ‘celebrity service’ they provide – treating each customer as they would an A-list Hollywood star.
The Cornwall Business Awards’ recognition follows gold wins at both the South West and Cornwall Tourism Awards – completing an incredible hotel hat trick.

The Cornwall Business Awards are now in their 13th year. Organised by the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Growth Hub, this year’s event took place at St Mellion International Resort.
