Spa Food and Beverage Attendant

The Role

The Headland Hotel and Spa is a 5-star destination hotel and the ONLY Spa in the Southwest with the Luxury 5 Bubble rating from the Good Spa Guide. Awarded Coastal Spa of the year 2021 and home to the Aqua Club, the only bespoke built swimming facility overlooking the dramatic Atlantic Coastline. The Spa has a self contained luxury spa lounge and terrace that can accommodate up to 30 diners for lunch and afternoon tea.

We are looking for keen individuals to join our spa team who really love what they do; full of energy and enthusiasm, they have a genuine desire to deliver the very best experience for every guest, every time. Our spa food and beverage attendants are responsible for delivering food and beverages to our spa day guests and hotel residents, ocean club members and visitors ensuring a flawless experience is delivered every time. We pride ourselves on the guest’s journey from welcoming the guest, to delivering beautiful fresh lunches, afternoon teas, seasonal cocktails and showing our guests our wonderful Spa facilities.

Our fabulous team are important to us. Which is why we offer you use of the facilities including the gym, the thermal journey, and the aqua club for you to relax and enjoy the beautiful spa for yourself. Staff meals are provided daily, and we have reoccurring visits from the local ice cream van and coffees and cake van with free perks for all staff.

For our spa food and beverage attendant role previous experience in a similar job role is desirable as you will mostly be working independently or in a small team to deliver a complete lunch service from taking the orders, arranging the seating plan, calling away the food, clearing tables, upselling courses and drinks and closing bills. The small service kitchen requires daily attention to monitor fridge temperatures, preparing fruit for our flavoured waters and cleaning the glass washer.

Our ideal candidate...

This position would be perfect for a confident and independent individual with a keen eye for detail wanting to enhance and progress their experience of working in a 5* Hotel and spa. You will have a basic understanding of food hygiene standards and organisation skills, the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and deliver a 5 star service with a friendly approach. You will have a genuine passion for what you do and always go above and beyond for every guest, every time.

Pay and Contract

This is a permanent 40 hour per week contract working 5 days out of 7 including weekends and bank holidays. 

The rate of pay is £10.50 per hour (for those 18 years and above) paid monthly plus tips.
