Twixmas

Twixmas: The period between Christmas and New Year. Some see this period as just waiting for the New Year to arrive. At The Headland it’s an opportunity to avoid the masses and enjoy some well-deserved relaxation.

Escape the Family!

Friday 27th and Saturday 28th December

The perfect opportunity to extend your stay with us or to arrive a day or two before all the razzamatazz of the New Year begins. Alternatively, this might be time to escape, kick back and recharge for a couple of days, especially if you’ve been catering for family and friends during Christmas. This perfect two-night break includes a full Cornish breakfast each morning and dinner in the Samphire Restaurant each evening. Children are of course, very welcome to join and can either dine from the same menu or from a bespoke Little Headlanders menu. Nightly room rates are from £155 (based on two people sharing).

Night at the Races!

Sunday 29th December

The date to top your ‘Escape the Family’ break or arrive early for the New Year celebrations. Once you have arrived and made yourself comfortable, we look forward to welcoming you to The Samphire Restaurant for a relaxing dinner by candlelight. Simon Le Tarche and company will be playing some mellow jazz for your enjoyment this evening.

Afterwards and for one night only, we’re casting aside festive traditions for a ‘Night at The Races’. Join in the thrills and spills of the racetrack! Your host for the evening will be Tim Coleman along with The Headland team who will be showing off their finest racing silks! Enjoy an evening of studying form, competitive cheering and hopefully some lucky wins and prizes.
