The Headland blends classic comfort with up-to-the-minute amenities for a truly easy-going vibe. Relax with family, friends or colleagues amid enchanting decor and awe-inspiring coastal views, all underpinned by the four-star, award-winning hospitality we know you love.

Reasons to stay
HISTORY MEETS YOUNG AT HEART

We've a big history and a unique story to tell. Established 1900, The Headland has been a longstanding favourite with royal visitors including King George VI, King Edward VII, The Prince of Wales and Princess Royal. We also found fame on the silver screen - the most well-known film made on location here at the hotel is Roald Dahl’s ‘The Witches’.

Reasons to stay
IMPECCABLE PERSONAL HOSPITALITY

Our friendly hospitality is a point of pride and we’re honoured to be the only hotel in Newquay to win ‘Gold’ at the 2015 Cornwall Tourism Awards. We are also a recipient of 2016/17 Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor.

Reasons to stay
FURRY FRIENDS ARE WELCOME

Dogs are welcome in our hotel & cottages – even wet and sandy ones, as long as they are well-behaved! For your four legged friends we can provide a dog bowl, blanket, food and some yummy treats. There's a charge of £24 per dog, per night but with miles of sandy beach for them to run along it's well worth it.
