Amazing lamb perfectly cooked. Very polite and friendly excellent service.

Would definately visit again and would recommend The Headland Cottages to family and friends.

Dinner was perfect

I like the way you are developing your hotel by encouraging your employees to excel and train. Well done, keep it up.

Laundry was closed on arrival. I needed my shirts clean. The Receptionist washed them for me - she saved my life I had a busines meeting!

It is a joy to return, nothing changes, is still a well run, obviously family run business that pays attention to thoughtful details. I would have difficulty in finding a 4/5* hotel with better service. as far as we are concerned it reaches 6*. The staff are polite, well mannered, all smile and say good morning, begin any conversation thinking of you as if you are the first person they have greeted today. They may seem small things, but mean the most to us!

We have stayed at your hotel on numerous occassions since 1884 as a couple and with friends, we have not found it necessary to consider an alternative as we enjoy it so much. Our daughters wedding breakfast was first class, all the staff acted in a professional and polite manner, the food was exceptional and was served fresh and could not be faulted in any way.

Staff were brilliant, helpful, humourous. Girl who delivered room service noticed television reception was really poor. Said she'd get someone to come and look, Reception followed this up minutes later with a call advising what was happening.

Best aspect of the hotel was the food. Service was friendly but not over the top. Loved coming down for dinner on the stairs with the sound of piano, the one on the first floor has a beautiful sound.

Everyone was enthusiastic and seemed very genuine. quality of food was exceptional.

Attention to detail without formality. The Headland is the one hotel we keep coming back to time and again, and will continue to do so.

Service in The Terrace was excellent. Very, very obliging and friendly.

Our waitress is an incredible waitress with a beautiful personality who enhances the dining experience ten fold.

All staff were friendly and attentive - felt particularly well looked after.

Terrace staff made us feel very welcome. Made a special effort to provide food that the children could eat after 6pm. Excellent

Uncomparable service - friendly and helpful

What a lovely welcome - service with a smile. Very helpful/polite.It wasn't made clear on website just how dog friendly you are, and Cornwall in general. Our dog was most upset to be left behind. He would have loved it here.

All the staff were excellent, but for us regulars, the familiar faces in particular make us feel valued and welcome evey year.

The best aspects were the general 'period' ambiance - exceptional! Whilst still offering modern standards - well done!
