  • I consider myself extremely privileged that my career path has lead me to be leading such a vibrant and multifaceted business such as The Headland. The setting is truly unique, the grandeur and architecture of the hotel are second to none, and the team that make it all happen are truly outstanding. These are very exciting times as the hotel continues to evolve through its various planned development; currently underway is the new Headland Spa and gym.

My role is both a rewarding and challenging one; it is truly wonderful to be surrounded by such positivity and confidence, and where everyone recognises and delivers excellence throughout.

    Darryl Reburn - General Manager

Jan says...
  • I enjoy working at the Headland because of the business that the hotel generates. The reinvestment and redevelopment plan shows a high commitment to excellence, which is obviously paramount to the Armstrong family.  I am looking forward to new challenges and want to be part of the successful team that we are.

My commitment to high standards and my culinary expertise will hopefully be a solid backbone to the new banqueting facilities that we are planning to build.

After the arrival of my son last year I find myself far too busy playing with him to have any hobbies, but I do enjoy my role as a father.

    Jan Wilhelm - Head Chef

  • I love working at The Headland because the atmosphere is great, whether we’re throwing a once in a life time staff party at The Eden Project, surfing on Fistral Beach when it’s really a bit too big for us, or working a 14 hour shift whilst throwing a lavish wedding for a lucky couple– no matter what we’re doing, we all keep each other smiling! Plus the view isn’t too bad either.

George Armstrong - Food and Beverage Manager
