  • I consider myself extremely privileged that my career path has lead me to be leading such a vibrant and multifaceted business such as The Headland. The setting is truly unique, the grandeur and architecture of the hotel are second to none, and the team that make it all happen are truly outstanding. The past couple of years have and continue to be very exciting times as the hotel, coupled with its beautiful new spa and gym, continues to be recognised as the leading property throughout the county, enjoying numerous awards to consolidate the huge efforts made by our entire team.

My role is both a rewarding and challenging one; it is truly wonderful to be surrounded by such positivity and confidence, and where everyone recognises and delivers excellence throughout.

  • After a career in retail I worked my way up to retail manger I decided to take a change of career and qualified as a nail technician and beauty therapist in 2006. In march 2008 I moved to Crete, Greece where I worked for 4 years as a spa therapist in one of the leading hotels of the world. The Elounda Beach Hotel, where I have treated royalty and premiership footballers. I also had my own mobile beauty business and did lots of weddings. In 2012 I moved back to UK where I worked for a friend in her salon until I became head therapist at St.Michael's hotel and spa in Falmouth. My greatest achievement there was winning Cornwall today's best spa Cornwall. I am very much looking forward to taking the Headland Spa to the next level it deserves.

  • I've been a visitor to Newquay and Cornwall since I was a child, so when I decided to move away from the hustle and bustle of London the West Country seemed like a natural choice, and coming from a five star hotel background where else would I choose to work but the best hotel in Cornwall? I look forward to welcoming you to The Headland!
