Dog Friendly Hotel & Cottages

Dogs are welcome in our hotel & cottages – even wet and sandy ones, as long as they are well-behaved! For your four legged friends we can provide a dog bowl, blanket, food and some yummy treats. There's a charge of £20 per dog, per night but with miles of sandy beach for them to run along it's well worth it.

  • Dog friendly walks in Cornwall

We hope that you have many happy hours exploring the surroundings of our beautiful hotel, and we've put together some routes to help you get the most out of what we believe to be one of the most scenic parts of the world. The walks below vary in length from about 3.5 miles to 7 miles and will take you through beautiful countryside or along magnificent coastal walks. If you have any concerns about any of the routes, please ask at reception for more details as to the suitability of each walk for you. If necessary, we can always suggest longer or shorter routes depending how intrepid you feel, and we can even make up a packed lunch to take with you.

  • Dog friendly beaches in Cornwall

There are eight sandy dog friendly beaches close by and another three a short drive away. Newquay is also the surfing capital of the UK, thanks largely to the iconic Fistral Beach - a long, sandy, west-facing beach with consistently good waves & is dog friendly all year round.

Whether you're looking for lazy days or high adventure, you'll find it all here. If you get tired of lying in the sun, splashing in the sea and building sandcastles, there are a host of activities to try such as coasteering, paddle-boarding or surfing - don't forget to talk to Dom from The Surf Sanctuary which is based in the hotel.
